OUR STORY

Dawg Gone Good Teriyaki restaurant opened in Ketchum, Idaho, in 1996. Healthy, delicious, and reasonably priced, Teriyaki bowls were a go-to for college students and Seattleites Chris Parmelee and Jay Duncan (Go DAWGS!). They were excited to share their version of the popular fare.

Chris & Jay had a winning concept - now they needed the perfect location. With its world-class skiing and fly fishing, Chris had been enjoying the Wood River Valley’s endless supply of outdoor activities his whole life; it only took a week for Jay to fall in love with the Valley.

They knew their quick, tasty, budget-friendly fare would appeal to the backbone of the resort town, the hard-working, fun-loving locals. But the allure didn’t stop there. Dawg Gone Good’s dining room was filled with influential people, from ski operators to celebrities, locals, and tourists alike. Dawg Gone Good Teriyaki became the gathering place to share stories about the day’s adventures.

Years later, Jay and Chris had moved on to different endeavors. Yet, customers continued to remind them how they loved the sauce. It was hard for Chris or Jay to walk around Sun Valley without being asked, “When are you coming back?”.

Well, it’s the 25th anniversary of Dawg Gone Good’s opening, and while they’re not bringing the restaurant back, they are bringing the magic directly to you. You can now enjoy the indelible, delectable flavors of Dawg Gone Good Teriyaki Sauce anytime, any place. At home, in the mountains, or at a BBQ, your favorite sauce is back! www.dawgonegood.com
